The form of the logo is meant to emulate the hoop of life.; Grandmother Moon is watching over. The mountains speak to the geographical features of our territory – that is Gespe’gewagi -, the 7th and largest district of Mi’gma’gi. The outline of the mountains also resembles the outline of traditional regalia of a Mi’gmaq woman. The fiddlehead in the south rounds out the hoop, with its fronds opening up in the powerful wind that is WEJUSEG.
